Annual Awards

The award will be a small pin (stick on pin) that can be affixed to the name badge consisting of an inscribed flower and the volunteer level achieved.

Levels

  1. 50 hours– Flower is a viola

  2. 100 hours – Flower is a rose

  3. 200 hours – Flower is a calla lily

  4. 500 hours – Flower is a daffodil

 

Requirements

  1. Recipient must be an active Master Gardener

  2. Eligible hour totals, begin in the year of policy adoption

  3. Hours must be reported in St Charles County state database totals

  4. All hours count within the calendar year – volunteer, continuing education and advanced training

 

Procedure

  1. Award is a pin that can be attached to the MG badge (stick on pin)

  2. Awards will be presented at the January Master Gardener meeting

  3. Group picture of award recipients in the Minutes and More with written caption
