The Extension Center Demonstration Gardens​

Bring your camera.  Mornings and evenings are great times to stroll.  The gardens are open to the public every day during the daylight hours.  The Master Gardeners can also provide guided tours in May and early June.  See Garden Tours.

2026 Plant Sales – Save the Dates!

 

Saturday, March 14, 9:00 am-noon: Cool Season Plant Sale (Veggies and Pansies)

No reservations required for March 14.

Saturday, April 25:  Spring Plant Sale (Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs, Annuals, Perennials, and Natives)

Parking lot reservations are required for April 25 Spring Plant Sale shopping.

Our Pantry Garden area, allows our Master Gardeners to learn techniques for growing.  A typical year produces over a 2,000 lbs. (a ton) of donated vegetables for a local food pantry.

Other Activities

Farmers Market

The St. Charles County Master Gardeners will participate in the St. Charles Lions Club Farmers Market on the first Saturday of the month, May through September. Please note that the Market has moved to 370 Lakeside Park, 1000 Lakeside Park Drive in St. Peters.

Supporting the Monarch Butterfly

 

The National Garden Bureau has designated 2025 as The Year of the Asclepias (milkweed) and encourages gardeners to plant this attractive and useful flowering perennial which is vital to the survival of the monarch butterfly.
