St Charles County Master Gardeners

A pergola was constructed by our members using reclaimed lumber.  

It's purpose is to provide shade for the workers, a picnic area for the public and Extension staff; as well as, an outdoor teaching room. 

Various "stepables" are planted among the flagstones on the floor of the structure.  Perennials, vines, bulbs and annuals have been planted for color.

 Benches and tables set at a height adaptable for wheelchairs, were built as an Eagle project by a local scouts.
